What is Rock News Weekly?
Rock News Weekly is your source for weekly updates in the rock world. Whether it’s YouTube videos, live Twitch broadcasts or long-form podcast episodes, we’ve got you covered. We use official radio industry prep sites (not available to the public) to find the best & most accurate rock news out there. Rock News Weekly started in my garage as a way of having uncensored discussions on the weekly rock news topics as well as a place for interviews, goofy fake commercials and other fun stuff.
My history in the industry:
I have worked in rock radio for 20+ years, since 2005. I started as a remote assistant, On-Air in 2008 and worked my way up to PD and now Operations Manager of a FM/AM cluster in California. I have interviewed everyone from Rob Halford of Judas Priest to the local rock acts in my hometown. I’m a very passionate music fan of all genres, not just rock. I have been playing guitar & bass for 30+ years and drums for 5+ years.

There’s of course my bae Dalia for handling photo, video and intermittent co-hosting, in addition to David who has been the main co-host since the beginning of 2023.

Festival Media coverage started for us back in 2013 with our former show known as “Garage Rock Show”. We have been all up and down the west coast from Coachella, Bottle Rock, C2SV, California Roots and of course, over 10 years of head banging at the Aftershock music festival in Sacramento. Episode & Live Stream Schedule
We post new weekly audio episodes on the monday of every week. We go live every Sunday on our Twitch channel usually between 10am - 2pm (PST) Follow us there to get alerted when we go live!
